Why I Teach Yoga OM The Ball

Having tried many types of Yoga and exercise over the years, I know that I enjoy both the subtler practices as well as more of a physical challenge (I studied martial arts kick boxing for 3 years before the birth of my children). Yoga OM the Ball is a really great fun workout which uses a stability (swiss) ball to work with traditional Yoga Asanas giving additional depth to the training and engaging core muscles from start to finish. The class is not only a new, challenging experience, but I find the strong core work is a real must to help with toning and strengthening. I loved this practice from the first time I experienced it and receive very positive feed back from my own students. At the same time as offering a strong exercise, the use of the stability ball provides crucial support to your joints and so is suitable for all levels and great when used post-natal.
